Sunburst Success is a newsletter for small business owners, freelancers, and sole traders in the UK, set up by Han, a freelance proofreader since 2021. Every month, you’ll receive an email with sections including: a business goal broken down into actionable steps, a featured business resource (e.g. software, website, books), a tip for a business resource, a featured charitable organisation to donate to, and an overview into what Han is currently working on.

I envision Sunburst Success as a place where you will gain more confidence and inspiration in your ability to start, run, and sustain your business or solo career. I created it as a way of sharing my experiences with more people without over-committing myself.

Emails will be sent once per month, unless there is a technical problem or something needs to be clarified.

You can reply to any newsletter or email han@sunburstsuccess.co.uk to have your business goal broken down. I’d love to break down every goal I receive but understand that some people may not want to share their goal (though every goal will be anonymised unless you give permission to include your industry/job title/ideal customer). I endeavour to reply to emails within 2 months; if you haven’t heard from me after 60 days, please double check your email has been sent and then send another email or send me a message on LinkedIn.

I prioritise sustainability for the newsletter as much as possible; while setting up I compared different newsletter providers and decided on EcoSend for their commitment to environmental sustainability, not using generative AI, and being based primarily in the UK.
